We have a great amount of expertise with regards to class schedules, the new CPA Licensure requirements, and job placement techniques. President - David Perez
David is currently a fourth year Business Administration student who is set to concentrate in Accounting. His interests within accounting encompass Audit, Forensic Accounting, and Advisory Services. His goals for the near future are to attend the University of Southern California to receive his Masters in Accounting, become a certified CPA, and eventually work for one of the Big Four. In his spare time, David enjoys traveling to other countries, attending music festivals, soccer, and weight lifting.
Executive Vice President – Allen Chea
Allen is currently a fourth year business administration major with a concentration in accounting. He interned with KPMG furing the summer of 2016 in the assurance practice, and will be working there after graduating. Outside of accounting, Allen enjoys weight-lifting, watching sports, and playing NBA 2K. He is also an avid Phoenix Suns fan.
Vice President of External Affairs - Madeline Barayang
Madeline Barayang will be starting her career in Public Accounting at Squar Milner LLP in Newport Beach as part of their Audit Department this Fall. She hopes to pass two parts of the CPA exam before starting her career. During her undergraduate career, she interned at Target as an Operations Manager and at the UCR Audit and Advisory Services. She hopes to exemplify a strong woman in business to show others that she is capable achieve the same amount of success as anyone else.
Vice President of Internal Affairs - Lisa Crawford
John Chabot started taking courses at UCR during the Fall 2014 term as a third year transfer student from Santa Cruz, California. His concentration is accounting and he is researching U.S. tariff policy as a University Honor’s student. While John spends most of his time working towards the goal of becoming a CPA, when time permits, he enjoys cycling and golfing around the Inland Empire. He is looking forward to graduation, where he plans on moving back to Santa Cruz and working for a firm in the Silicon Valley area. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a lifelong San Diego Chargers fan, and he can’t wait for the next Star Wars movie to come out.
Vice President of Finance - Darren Lee
Darren Lee is a fourth-year Business Administration student concentrating in Accounting. He participated in a tax internship with PwC over Summer 2016 and was an internal audit intern at UCR’s Internal Audit & Advisory Services Winter 2017. Aside from accounting, Darren is also the President of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity. In the near future, he plans on studying for his CPA and obtaining a Master’s in Business Taxation after a few years of working. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his bros, playing tennis, and cooking.
Special Events Coordinator - Brandi Huynh
Allen Chea is a second-year Business Administration Major concentrating in Accounting. This summer he'll be interning at CFPB as a Student Policy Intern, hoping to learn more about the issues of inequality in America on an Economic scale. Beyond that in his free time, Allen enjoys tennis, fitness, modeling for GQ, and assisting his parents in their small restaurant business. As for his career goals, he is still unsure as to what he would like be, but thus far enjoys the journey that he has taken in finding it.
Technology Director - Jackie Tsao
Jackie is currently a 4th year business major with a concentration in accounting. His specific interests within accounting industries are F/S and manufacturing, as he hopes to work in either industry. In his free time, he enjoys socializing with friends, weightlifting, and watching basketball.
